How To Send Meeting Invite From Iphone
question
Microsoft Teams invitations not showing details in iCloud
Microsoft Teams invitations not showing Accept, Decline, notes or date and time in icloud (google chrome browser) but have a mime attachment in iOS mail (iphone). Not showing in Teams calendar either. I have to open the invite notes in iPhone, copy paste and email back to myself. No accept or decline buttons on iphone either.

@MattHallam-9028,
This is by design.
Microsoft Teams includes the Outlook add-in, which lets you create new Teams meetings directly from Outlook. However, mail app has no such add-in plug-in. So, please schedule Teams meeting from Outlook client or Teams client.

Hi Sharon,
So basically you're saying MS Teams doesn't work with any other mail app? This is incorrect as it works in the iOS mail app. The issue isn't with sending an invite, it's with receiving the invite. It seems illogical that the time and date of the invite are not displayed anywhere, there's not even a notes link! There must be a work around to find the teams invite details without using MS Teams or Outlook, is my solution (copy from phone and re-email) the way that Mac users are working with Teams??? or is MS forcing us to use outlook as the mail client? if so then this should be clearly stated as a limitation of the service. i guess we all need to switch back to Google Meet or Zoom!

@MattHallam-9028,
It seems that you get me wrong. I don't mean that Microsoft Teams doesn't work with any other mail app.
In my first reply, I misunderstand your situation and I will retest it and post back soon. Thanks for your understanding.

@MattHallam-9028,
Sorry to reply you late. I requested an Apple ID and tried to log in mail app, but failed. So, I didn't get the specific result.
But I test an account end with outlook.com, it can receive the complete Teams invitation properly.
It is hard to say if this is a limitation in Teams side now.
Update:
Could you share with us about what kind of mail address do you use?
In my understanding, you use a mail of iCloud to receive Teams meeting invitation but with no details, including Accept, Decline button, notes and time, right? If I misunderstand you, please give us more information to know your problem well.
Except outlook.com, I try to use an account with gmail.com(third-party mailbox) to receive the Teams meeting invitation and it shows all the details but with no Accept and Decline button. You can refer to the following image:
It seems that different mailboxes have different phenonema when received Teams meeting invitation.
